The United States Marshals have some new leads on the whereabouts of a fugitive on the run for making horrible threats towards President Donald Trump and Sarah Palin. The PA man is named Shawn Christy and he’s wanted for threatening to specifically put a bullet in the head of President Trump. His threats at Sarah Palin are also being included as part of the investigation and warrants out to arrest him.
New information suggests that Christy may have been involved in a crash just off I-71 in the Mansfield, Ohio area. The reason they believe this was Christy is that the truck in the accident is said to be the same 2002 GMC Sierra that authorities believe he stole while he was over in Hazle Township, in Luzerne County, in PA.
U.S. Marshals have been searching Ohio for the man since at least Sunday, 9/16/2018, after getting this information.
A local news station, Fox 56, reported that they “believe Christy broke into Skitco Iron Works in Hazle Township for a second time in two weeks, allegedly stealing one of the company’s GMC Sierra.

Skitco Iron Works is less than two miles from Christy’s Hometown of McAdoo, Schuylkill County. We talked to people there about the three month long search for him.
“He should’ve been caught already. I don’t know why he hasn’t been,” Lucas Wood said.
Marshals say Christy threatened to “put a bullet” into the head of President Donald Trump and Northampton County D-A John Morganelli on Facebook.”
Authorities think Christy has traveled to Canada, Maryland, and Kentucky, but no further information on why or how has been released (or was not in this report).
This is the type of truck to look out for. The fugitive may be driving a truck just like this.
Federal agents have a reward for up to $20,000 for any information leading to the “direct arrest” of Christy.
He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Christy’s history with Sarah Palin goes back to 2008 when he offered to work for her and McCain. This is according to his family, not Palin’s family or representatives.
In 2009 he allegedly had an email chat with either Palin, her daughter, or perhaps an FBI agent. The FBI said to back off. The Palin family said he did not ever have an email relationship with any of them. Christy did not show any evidence of having this relation.
In 2010 Palin slammed Christy with a temporary protection-from-abuse order. This was also from her friend Kristan Cole. Christy was to remain at least one mile away from them if he was ever in Alaska or near them. Palin seemed worried that he had traveled to Alaska.
In 2011, he’s 19-years-old, and actually goes to Alaska. Says he’s there to do an interview with an Alaskan reporter.
His PTA order is extended another six months.
Christy and his father, Craig Christy are arrested for harassment. Specifically, it was “harassing Palin’s lawyers with threatening messages and hundreds of other phone calls. Christy eventually pleads guilty of harassment and is sentenced to probation, but he spends two years in federal prison after he leaves a Scranton halfway house in violation of probation. He says the halfway house had bed bugs that bit him hundreds of times.”
June 2015. A few years went by. “Christy is charged with harassment of a teacher and an administrator at McCann School of Business and Technology, a school he attends in Hazle Township, Luzerne County.”
Between then and now Christy has numerous run-ins and incidents that could find him getting in trouble.
Fast forward to June of 2018 and “Shawn Christy, or someone using his Facebook account, sends The Morning Call an early-morning message saying, “I am unable to make timely statements right now, but I stand by my previous statements of lethal force. The evidence against me was altered by the police, so if this continues I have no option besides self defense. Shawn Christy.” At about the same time this message is sent to The Morning Call, a comment in Christy’s name is posted publicly on his Facebook page, saying, “Keep it up Morganelli, I promise I’ll put a bullet in your head as soon as I put one in the head of President Donald J. Trump. Remember where you came from punk.”
At this point, it escalated quickly and now he’s wanted by U.S. Marshalls.
It would be best for him to turn himself in and explain what’s going on. However, threats against a United States president and anyone else must be taken seriously. This is going to be a very uphill battle for the man and he might be making it worse by running for so long.
