TROUBLE IN SOCIALIST PARADISE? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has just been hit with another Federal Election Commission complaint of a ‘subsidy scheme’.

It’s alleged that her campaign manager was in on the scheme too.

The FEC just accused Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her campaign manager, Saikat Chakrabarti, of overseeing several PACs (political action committees) that allowed them to raise more money than is legal.

According to Fox News, an LLC (limited liability company) was created “in order to avoid federal expenditure requirements”. The LLC connected to Ocasio-Cortez and her campaign manager is guilty of providing campaign contributions known as “in-kind” expenditures by only charging candidates for a portion of the total cost of the service. This is a problem because “goods and services provided by political campaigns must be paid for at market value”.

This is the second FEC complaint to hit Ocasio-Cortez. The questions and concerns are that they moved money around and have no record of expenditures for the money. It’s alleged that they transferred a large amount of money from PACs to several LLCs in an “off-the-books operation”:

The National Legal and Policy Center filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission accusing the Democratic lawmaker and her chief of staff of being part of an “off-the-books operation” to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on candidates last year.

The FEC complaint asserts that Chakrabarti established two PACs, the Brand New Congress PAC and Justice Democrats PAC, and then systematically transferred more than $885,000 in contributions received by those PACs to the Brand New Campaign LLC and the Brand New Congress LLC — companies that, unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures. The PACs claimed the payments were for “strategic consulting.”

Trouble in socialist paradise?

THIS “TAX THE RICH” SOCIALIST ALSO OWES BACK TAXES:

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to jack up taxes for everyone, but she can’t even pay her own tax bill!

As it turns out a company founded by Ocasio-Cortez still owes corporate taxes of $1,870.

“The company probably got numerous letters from the state and probably ignored them.” – A New York City accountant’s theory

So Ocasio-Cortez can skip on her taxes, but she expects everyone else to pay more? Sounds like a case of “do as I say and not as I do.”

She has previously called for a 70 percent tax on anyone making over 10 million to finance her ‘Green New Deal.’ She also just signed on to a bill that would tax stock trades.

This is a classic case of Socialism where the politicians have one set of rules and the masses have another.

The New York Post reported on the company founded by Ocasio-Cortez that produced nothing:

Brook Avenue Press was set up to “develop and identify stories and literature in urban areas like New York, specifically communities like The Bronx,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a YouTube video (see below) posted on October 2011, months before she filed incorporation papers for the company in July 2012.

The company relied on cheap office space in a city-subsidized program to help small businesses in The Bronx.

Called the Sunshine Bronx Business Incubator, the program was housed in a renovated former printing plant in Hunts Point, where rates for office spaces and tech services in 2012 averaged between $99 for a “virtual office” and $275 per month for local start-ups.

“You see a huge return on your investment here,” a 22-year-old Ocasio-Cortez told a reporter in July 2012. “People pay $500 an hour for consulting that we get for free by the water cooler.”

Her photo is still on the Sunshine Bronx Business Incubator website:

But despite her promise to work with “designers, artists, and authors that really know the urban story and help develop stories for kids,” The Post could not find any books the publishing house produced.

It sounds like Ocasio-Cortez was working the system and then never produced a thing!

In the meantime, Ocasio-Cortez is possibly in deeper trouble with the FEC:

“IT’S NOT DARK MONEY BUT MORE LIKE BLACK MONEY”

Sounds like another case of the rules applying to everyone BUT Ocasio-Cortez.
