House Freedom Caucus member Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who initiated the effort to condemn and censure Chairman Schiff, also announced on Twitter last night that there were 173 members of Congress who co-sponsored his motion, and that they would take a vote today.
Unfortunately, the Democrats voted to block the censure against Shifty Adam Schiff.
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) tweeted about how the Democrats blocked Rep. Andy Biggs’ (R-AZ) resolution to hold Adam Schiff accountable for lying to the American people on multiple occasions.
🚨 BREAKING: Democrats just blocked @RepAndyBiggsAZ's resolution to hold Adam Schiff accountable for lying to the American people on multiple occasions.
Shame on them for once again shielding Schiff from facing any consequences! He should be censured!

Rep. Andy Biggs (R- AZ), blasted Chairman Schiff from the House floor only moments before the vote.
Adam Schiff may not have been held accountable tonight, but the American people are very much aware of his reckless disregard for the truth. They will not tolerate his calculated words and actions as he continues his secret impeachment inquiry to undermine the will of Americans. pic.twitter.com/mVp5DMTy4g

Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL) tweeted about Chairman Schiff’s deliberate attempts to mislead the American public about President Trump: On multiple occasions, Congressman Schiff has used his chairmanship to intentionally mislead Americans. This undermines the credibility of Congress and integrity of House Committees. Protecting the institution of the House should be a bipartisan priority for all Members.
House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) tweeted a copy of the resolution that condemns Chairman Adam Schiff, and “the way he has abused his power to mislead the American people.”

Strange—the only people Democrat lawmakers want to see held accountable for their actions are people who did nothing wrong.
