Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) held her ‘Rally for Trump’ in New York City on Tuesday, where she was swarmed by angry anti-Trump protestors.

After being warned by NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) to be on her “best behavior,” Greene tweeted that she was “going to New York on Tuesday.”

“We MUST protest the unconstitutional WITCH HUNT!”

She also clapped back at Adams for claiming that NYC is the “safest large city in America.”

Greene wrote on Twitter,

“Delusional @NYCMayor is trying to intimidate, threaten, and stop me from using my 1st amendment rights to peacefully protest the Democrat’s unconstitutional weaponization of our justice system against our top Republican Presidential candidate, President Trump.

Mayor Adams should be more concerned about NY citizens and taxpayers being murdered, raped, robbed, and carjacked than an elected Member of Congress coming to town.

Or should I be the one concerned that the mayor of NYC will weaponize his government or maybe his thugs like DA Alvin Bragg against me?”

On Tuesday, Greene tweeted that she is “in NY to protest… against the weaponization of the justice system on innocent President Trump.”

“[T]he counter protestors are coming to commit assault that can cause audible damage to everyone’s ears including NYPD,” said Greene, sharing a message from left-wing activists calling for counter-protestors to make as much noise as they can during Greene’s rally to drown her out.

Greene also cited a New York law that classifies the planned disruption of Greene’s rally as “disorderly conduct.”

One video from Turning Point USA’s Savanah Hernandez shows a anti-Trump protestor handing out whistles to people in preparation for Greene’s arrival so they can “drown her out.”

When Greene arrived at her rally, her vehicle was swarmed by angry leftists blowing whistles at her in protest.

She was also swarmed by protestors on her way to and from her rally.

The Georgia Rep. spoke to the crowd through a megaphone, calling out Mayor Adams for threatening her prior to the rally.

Addressing Adams, Greene said, “As you can see, I’m standing here peacefully protesting, but you called me out by name. While you allow crime in your streets and you send your henchmen down here to commit assault against people by making loud noises… Democrats are the party of violence.”
