Matt Gaetz was supposed to speak today at Charlie Kirk’s Student Action Summit in Florida, but left abruptly.

Rumors immediately began to circulate that sources claimed Gaetz had been summoned to Washington, D.C. to meet with President Trump amidst the Pam Bondi fiasco.

However, Gaetz himself just posted minutes ago claiming he was attending to a personal matter and was not “summoned” anywhere.

See here:

I’m having FOMO I’m not at SAS with all of my
@TPUSA @TPAction_ friends.

It looks like a great time. I had to tend to an unexpected personal matter. I haven’t been “summoned” anywhere.

President Trump and his entire administration are doing an incredible job and they have my TOTAL and COMPLETE support.

Maybe @charliekirk11 will let me come on his show next week and give the speech I wrote 🙂

Disappointing to hear that, but perhaps he’s just trying to throw people off the story?

We can hope!

I would still love to see Gaetz working at the DOJ.

And I would absolutely LOVE to see him in this role:

Fun fact: serving as a Special Prosecutor does not require Congressional Approval and could be put in place by President Trump immediately!

Here is Robert Barnes, a top trial lawyer, speaking with Benny Johnson and explaining exactly how Gaetz as Special Prosecutor would operate and how it would all work:

That’s what I voted for….do that!

Let’s go Mr. President, please make it happen!
