Daycare workers from Hamilton, Missouri, terrorized a group of “bad” toddlers by wearing a Halloween mask and yelling at the children. Video footage surfaced on social media after one of the workers at Lil’ Blessings Childcare filmed her coworkers terrorizing the kids. Jennifer Kayla Newman posted the video footage that quickly went viral. She explained,

‘A couple of weeks ago, some girls at the daycare bought Halloween masks to scare the kids, they did it, and I never got it on video.”

Newman claimed that her coworkers were never penalized by more than a “slap on the wrist” for the previous issues she brought up to the owners. Hence, she decided to record what was taking place, giving her the necessary proof to show the parents.

‘When I heard she was going to do it again, I recorded to get the proof and then the video was sent to parents to show them how their child was being treated,’ she wrote.

Newman’s coworkers believed scaring the children would promote better behavior.

The video footage shows a worker telling the woman in the mask which toddlers had ‘been good,’ adding ‘don’t get her’ if a child had behaved.

The horrifying footage has many calling for abuse charges to be filed against the workers.

The video caught a woman leaning over one child who was ‘bad’ and asking, ‘are you being bad? Do I need to take you outside?’
The frightened child tried to hide his face while crying out ‘no.’ The woman then screamed, ‘you better be good’ inches from the little boy’s face.
The daycare worker is then seen moving to a different classroom as kids in the first room continue to cry and tells the next group of children ‘y’all better be ready”. Several children try to hide behind a shelving unit as the woman moves toward them threateningly. The footage caught over two minutes of adults scaring the small children.

Officials released a statement in response to the viral FB post letting concerned parents and the community know they were investigating the situation.
‘The Monroe County, MS Sheriff’s Department is aware of the video from the daycare in Hamilton and is working with the county prosecutor to see if any possible criminal charges can be filed.
