After 84 days of this sham impeachment, it’s finally over…The Senate just voted to acquit President Trump on both Articles of Impeachment.

A majority of the US Senate voted NOT GUILTY falling very short of the 2/3rds supermajority required for removal.

Article One: Abuse of Power:
GUILTY: 48
NOT GUILTY: 52

Article Two: Obstruction of Congress
GUILTY: 47
NOT GUILTY: 53

Chief Justice Roberts:

“Two-thirds of the senators present not having pronounced him guilty, the Senate adjudges that the respondent Donald John Trump, President of the United States, is not guilty as charged in the first article of impeachment.”

SENATOR MITT ROMNEY was the lone Republican who changed the vote. He chose to vote guilty on Abuse of Power but not on the Obstruction of Congress.
