House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La. held nothing back on Tuesday as he vowed to expose the ‘web of corruption’ surrounding the Biden family that started to be uncovered with the release of the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop and is continuing to unravel.

The renewed focus on illicit business dealings in the Biden family came last month after top Republicans such as Representative James Comer, R-Ky. claimed to have knowledge of FBI documents that detailed an interview between agents and a confidential source who claimed to have knowledge of an illegal pay-for-play bribery scandal between then Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign country.

Since then, it was revealed by Senator Chuck Grassley, R-Ia. that a Burisma executive who has been accused of bribery claims to have 17 audio recordings detailing the illicit scheme as an ‘insurance policy’.

The information is the culmination of a weeks-long battle between House and Senate Republicans and the FBI, who has attempted to slow roll the release of the document and initially only agreed to let select Republican members see it at a secure site.

After Comer and other House Republicans threatened to charge FBI Director Christopher Wray with Contempt of Congress, he acceded to more of their demands.

The shocking report by Grassley comes as the Biden Department of Justice announced a federal indictment against former President Donald Trump just days ago.

Scalise told DailyMail.com Tuesday on the sidelines of practice for the annual Congressional Baseball Game this week that the American people are beginning to see the ‘whole Biden family web of corruption’ that’s been laid out by the House Oversight Committee led by Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley revealed on Monday that the Burisma Holdings Limited executive who allegedly paid then-Vice President Joe Biden the $5 million bribe has kept 17 audio recordings of phone calls as an ‘insurance policy.’
