America is facing a crisis on our southern border. President Trump has been forced to address this grave national security issue without the help of the Democrat lawmakers and without the help of many Republican lawmakers, who are beholden to special interest groups tied to cheap labor.

According to AZ  Central– Apprehensions of migrants along the nation’s southern border are the highest in more than a decade, creating what the top U.S. Customs and Border Protection official described Tuesday as a mushrooming crisis that threatens to overwhelm federal authorities.

The influx is being driven by a 300 percent increase in the number of people crossing as part of families compared with 2018. Families, along with unaccompanied children, accounted for 60 percent of all apprehensions since Oct. 1.

“We are currently facing both a border security and humanitarian crisis along our southwest border,” Kevin McAleenan, the Customs and Border Protection commissioner,  told reporters.

During the five-month period ended Feb. 28, Border Patrol officers apprehended some 268,000 migrants who entered the United States without legal authorization. More than 76,000 entered in February alone.

Yesterday, President Trump laid into Democrat lawmakers, who are putting our nation’s security at risk, as they fight to make it possible for hundreds of thousands of unvetted illegal aliens to cross over our southern borders. President Trump also laid blame on Mexico, who he claims have the strongest immigration laws, for allowing the massive caravans to travel through their country, as they make their way to the southern border with the goal of crossing over into the United States.

Yesterday, Trump warned Mexico that if they don’t stop massive caravans of illegals from crossing through their country to our border, he will close the border with Mexico:

In his tweet thread, President Trump threatened Mexico, telling them, “If Mexico doesn’t immediately stop ALL illegal immigration coming into the United States through our Southern Border, I will be CLOSING the border or large sections of the Border, next week.

The DEMOCRATS have given us the weakest immigration laws anywhere in the World. Mexico has the strongest, & they make more than $100 Billion a year on the U.S. Therefore, CONGRESS MUST CHANGE OUR WEAK IMMIGRATION LAWS NOW, & Mexico must stop illegals from entering the U.S….

….through their country and our Southern Border. Mexico has for many years made a fortune off of the U.S., far greater than Border Costs. If Mexico doesn’t immediately stop ALL illegal immigration coming into the United States through our Southern Border, I will be CLOSING…..

….the Border, or large sections of the Border, next week. This would be so easy for Mexico to do, but they just take our money and “talk.” Besides, we lose so much money with them, especially when you add in drug trafficking etc.), that the Border closing would be a good thing!

Now, Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk, who is also close to the administration, is announcing that President Trump has cut off aid to three Central American countries where massive numbers of illegal invaders are coming from, as they make their way through Mexico and across our southern border.

Kirk tweeted:

BREAKING: Trump cuts off aid to El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras Good! No more aid till they do everything they can to stop these illegal caravans!

El Salvador, one of the three Central American countries Trump has decided to cut aid from, is the birthplace of the world’s most notorious and violent gang, Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13.

CBS News is also reporting on the breaking story – Mr. Trump indicated on Friday he would be cutting aid to the countries as punishment for their inability to stem the flow of migrants heading to the southern U.S. border. The countries affected make up the so-called “Northern Triangle” and account for the majority of Central American migrants who are crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

The State Department began informing Congress of the decision on Friday.

“At the Secretary’s instruction, we are carrying out the President’s direction and ending FY 2017 and FY 2018 foreign assistance programs for the Northern Triangle. We will be engaging Congress as part of this process,” a spokesperson for the State Department said in a statement.

Mr. Trump told reporters on Friday, “I’ve ended payments to Guatemala, to Honduras, and to El Salvador. No money goes there anymore.” He has threatened to cut off aid in the past, including in an October tweet.
