Trump-endorsed John Gibbs wins in a YUGE congressional race…

John Gibbs, a Trump and Dr. Carson endorsed candidate for US House, was running a tough race against never-Trump freshman Rep. Peter Meijer who voted to impeach President Trump. Tonight, in one of the last races to be called in the state of Michigan, it was just announced that the Stanford and Harvard-educated conservative black Republican had ousted the anti-Trump lawmaker.

Gibbs was one of eight Trump-endorsed candidates who signed on to the letter asking him not to work with Betsy DeVos or the DeVos family, who backed his opponent Peter Meijer in the primary race.

Meijer’s campaign spent over 5 X’s more than Gibbs on his primary campaign:

Yet, the polls still showed the race was a dead heat from July 12 – Election Day:

A very pleased and well-qualified John Gibbs tweeted a photo of himself receiving a call from President Trump to congratulate him on his win.

In his tweet, the beaming Gibbs thanked President Trump for his support.

Gibbs should easily win his US congressional seat in the solidly red 3rd district of Michigan that covers a beautiful area on the state’s western side.
