Elise Stefanik has been chosen to replace anti-Trump Liz Cheney as the GOP Conference Chair. After Liz Cheney was voted out as leader (see below), President Trump released a statement saying he supports Stefanik as the replacement for Cheney.

Stefanik was chosen on Friday by a secret ballot vote of 134-46. She released a statement shortly after the vote:

I’m truly honored and humbled to earn the support of my colleagues to serve as House Republican Conference Chair. House Republicans are united in our focus to fight on behalf of the American people to save our country from the radical Socialist Democrat agenda of President Biden and Nancy Pelosi.

The American people are experiencing an economic crisis, a border crisis, an energy crisis, and a national security crisis due to Far-Left radical policies. House Republicans will continue to put forth policies focused on growing our economy and getting people back to work, reopening our schools, promoting American energy independence, securing our border, strengthening our national security, and protecting our Constitution.

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON CHENEY’S OUSTER:

President Trump just released a blistering statement directed at ousted (see below) Republican leader Liz Cheney saying, “She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster.”

“Liz Cheney is a bitter, horrible human being. I watched her yesterday and realized how bad she is for the Republican Party. She has no personality or anything good having to do with politics or our Country. She is a talking point for Democrats, whether that means the Border, the gas lines, inflation, or destroying our economy. She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster, draining our wealth and depleting our Great Military, the worst decision in our Country’s history. I look forward to soon watching her as a Paid Contributor on CNN or MSDNC!”

The statement from President Trump was released after republicans voted to oust Cheney as Republican leader:

Liz Cheney didn’t go quietly when she was officially ousted from Republican leadership this morning via a voice vote. Cheney immediately came out with guns blazing, saying, “I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.”  She made it clear that she is targeting Trump to make sure he doesn’t win in 2024. Cheney is visibly bitter and uses the fake news pumped out by the lapdog media to tarnish Trump’s reputation.

Cheney spoke on the House floor yesterday spewing rhetoric and anti-Trump talking points:

Good riddance!

President Trump previously called on Republicans to “rid themselves” of Cheney:

“The Republicans in the House of Representatives have a great opportunity today to rid themselves of a poor leader, a major Democrat talking point, a warmonger, and a person with absolutely no personality or heart. As a representative of the Great State of Wyoming, Liz Cheney is bad for our Country and bad for herself. Almost everyone in the Republican Party, including 90% of Wyoming, looks forward to her ouster—and that includes me!”

He endorsed Elise Stefanik as the new leader:

The House GOP has a massive opportunity to upgrade this week from warmonger Liz Cheney to gifted communicator Elise Stefanik. Elise has intelligence, an endorsement from American Patriot Brandon Judd and the National Border Patrol Council, she has an A+ from the NRA, and she loves our Veterans. We need someone in Leadership who has experience flipping districts from Blue to Red as we approach the important 2022 midterms, and that’s Elise! She knows how to win, which is what we need!
