Yesterday, a man who claims to be the brother of ‘Lady Al Qaeda’, a high profile terrorist who is serving an 86 year prison sentence for trying to kill US military personnel, is holding four hostages in a Texas synagogue.  He posted a livestream yesterday afternoon and is still in an ongoing standoff with Colleyville police, who have deployed a SWAT team near the synagogue.  In the livestream, he can be heard repeating that he is ‘going to die’.  Today, the FBI identified the man who was shot and killed in the standoff.  The Epoch Times Reports

“The FBI has identified the the man who took hostages at a Texas synagogue on Jan. 15 and was shot dead after an hours-long standoff as British national Malik Faisal Akram.

Akram was shot and killed when an FBI SWAT team stormed the building of the Congregation Beth Israel near Fort Worth, Texas, at around 9 p.m., following a 10-hour standoff in which four people were taken hostage.

Colleyville Police Chief Michael Miller confirmed at a press conference late Saturday that the suspect had been killed.

All the hostages were rescued unharmed, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced late Saturday.

“Prayers answered. All hostages are out alive and safe,” Abbott said in a post on Twitter.”

Akram was holding the rabbi and three other people hostage, Katersky said.

Akram was claiming to have bombs in unknown locations, but what extent the assailant is armed, is unknown.”

The unknown assailant can be heard saying ‘On this day I will die’ on the now removed Facebook livestream of the synagogue service before it cuts out.  WATCH:
