Sheriff Ron Hickman of Harris County, TX held a press conference at 4:30 pm today to fill in the blanks on the suspect in the horrific execution style murder of a Sheriff’s Deputy: Shannon J. Miles is the suspect in the shooting and murder of Sheriff’s Deputy Goforth. Motive for this execution style murder is simply because Deputy Goforth wore a law enforcement uniform. The handgun has been found and has been tested and is a match. It’s no surprise that Miles has a previous criminal record.
