It has come to light that there could be another document scandal on the horizon for Joe Biden, with many now questioning whether the documents Biden donated from his time as a Senator through the early days of his Vice Presidency might also contain classified documents. The papers were donated to the University of Delaware in 2010.

Yet strangely, one of Hunter Biden’s business partners was asked to help with the transfer, “Hunter Biden’s business partner was tasked with transferring sensitive papers from Joe Biden’s vice presidential office to the University of Delaware – papers that were sensitive enough to require the involvement of White House lawyers.”

Hunter’s business partner in question is Eric Schwerin, who worked with him at Rosemont Seneca. Rosemont describes itself as “a $2.4 billion private equity firm co-owned by Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz.” Apparently, Schwerin was put in charge of moving 1,850 boxes of files in 2010 from Biden’s DC office to the University of Delaware. Co-owner Chris Heinz is the stepson of John Kerry.

An email from Hunter’s laptop revealed that in March 2010, Joe Biden’s deputy counsel Katherine Oyama wrote to Schwerin warning about the documents, that the ‘Deed of Gift’ document to the university ‘appears to include Obama-Biden transition papers, which the vice president likely does not own.’

Schwerin forwarded Oyama’s email warning about the documents to Hunter and wrote, “FYI – if you want to be in the loop. I sent to Mel who is going to talk to your Dad about this and decide who should work on it between him and Jamie.” According to the Daily Mail, Mel was reportedly a reference to attorney Melvyn Monzack, who “handled Hunter and Joe’s brother Jim’s taxes and other Biden family affairs.”

Strangely it was not until June of 2012, two years later, that the Newark Post published an article saying the University of Delaware had received 1875 boxes of Biden’s papers in early June:

“The University of Delaware’s Morris Library last week welcomed a delivery of 1,875 boxes full of Vice President Joe Biden’s senatorial papers, the largest collection that the library’s special collections department has ever received.

Crews moved the 33 pallets of boxes from two trucks into the library’s basement, where the papers were secured on mechanical compact shelving, built especially to accommodate the large collection.”

Former Trump DOJ official Jeff Clark is calling for investigations to begin now, tweeting,

“The University of Delaware must be searched for #BidenDocuments. What are they waiting for?”

Senator Ted Cruz also called for an investigation, asking, “How many classified documents are in Joe Biden’s Senate papers at the University of Delaware? It’s time for the DOJ to investigate.”
