As the fake-daycare scandal continues to explode in Minnesota, the “MSM” is doing all they can to ignore it.

Meanwhile, one independent investigative journalist, Nick Shirley, is running circles around that at their own game.

His video exposing the fraud had garnered 42 million views on X yesterday when I covered it and now today is closing in on 100 million:

“Influencer” Outworks MSM, Exposes $110 Million FRAUD In Minnesota — 42 Million Views!

Thank you to Elon Musk for buying Twitter and making things like this possible!

And while the so-called "Mainstream Media" should be the ones doing this, they aren't.

In fact, they seem to be willfully trying to ignore it and just hoping it goes away.

At that was, until today.  Or so I thought.

Because I (finally) saw this post from CBS News on X -- FINALLY mentioning the massive fraud in Minnesota:

Screenshot in case they take down the post:

A few initial thoughts and then I'm going to show you what a massive FAIL this was.

So my first thought was what an arrogant and condescending post.

Do you see it?

Take a moment to really read what they wrote and let it sink in.

The implication, at least to me, is quite clear and quite condescending.  They are implying there's been a "lot of conversation" on X about the massive fraud, almost as if the missing phrase was "from the children" -- and then they tag that with "Read all our reporting here" almost as if the missing phrase there was "from the real news source".

Except....reality is just the opposite.

Allow me to fix it for you CBS News....

Instead of:

"Lots of conversation on here about the massive fraud in Minnesota. Read all our reporting right here:"

This would fit much better:

"Lots of real investigative journalism being done by Nick Shirley and others on X.  It's what we should have been doing but we haven't published anything since December 20th and we're trying desperately to ignore this story and hope it just goes away."

That would be much more accurate.

Because while the CBS News post implies that they have the real and authentic reporting on this story, when you actually go to the link they posted, you find their last article was published back on December 20th, nothing since, and the article they did publish on December 20th was not investigative journalism exposing the fraud, it was a protectionist piece about Tim Walz disputing the claims and saying there is no fraud:

UNREAL!

There's a reason no one trusts the MSM anymore, and nothing could be a better example than this absolutely tone-deaf attempt to reclaim the narrative.
