The CDC has now changed COVID-19 guidelines to be identical between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals

The CDC has changed COVID-19 guidelines yet again–this time, to what many say they should have been all along.

No longer is the Center for Disease Control recommending different things to the unvaccinated portion of the population than they are to the vaccinated. The two groups of individuals are now to operate under the same set of guidelines.

The new guidelines state the following:

  • Those exposed to the virus no longer need to quarantine
  • Students can stay in class after exposure to the virus
  • People without symptoms no longer need to be screened

And most importantly:

  • Unvaccinated people are to now operate under the same guidance as vaccinated people

No longer is the CDC recommending legal discrimination against a large swathe of the populous.

No longer is there any semblance of legitimacy for those who sneered at the unvcaccinated and barred them from their rights. America is moving on.

From Breitbart:

Greta Massetti, Branch Chief for Field Epidemiology and Prevention, said in a statement that the new guidelines should help Americans move to an era where the virus no longer intrudes upon their daily lives.

“This guidance acknowledges that the pandemic is not over, but also helps us move to a point where COVID-19 no longer severely disrupts our daily lives,” said Massetti. “We know that COVID 19 is here to stay.”

However, what does this mean for the countless Americans who lost employment due to their refusal to get the vaccine when the CDC demanded that we all should?

Now that the CDC has essentially admitted that there is no reason to treat the two groups differently, this ought to be applied retroactively. Some people are calling for rehiring the victims of discrimination, and giving them back-pay.

The CDC destroyed the lives of anyone in the military who refused the experimental vaccine. If all they are doing now is changing the guidelines, some see it not as a victory but as too little too late.

Life can go on for those who were not gravely effected.  But for those who lost their livelihood and their careers, the question is if there will be recompense.
