“God forbid that I start telling some of the stories for how I’ve covered for that lame-ass organization” – Celebrity Attorney fired by CNN

Mark Geragos, 61,  just threatened to expose CNN after they fired him over his involvement with the Michael Avenatti extortion case. Even though he hasn’t been charged with a crime, Geragos is alleged to have been involved in the Nike extortion plot.

CNN announced earlier this week that Geragos wouldn’t be working with CNN.

Geragos went on “The Adam Carolla Show” the same day he was fired and ranted about CNN:

“God forbid that I start telling some of the stories for how I’ve covered for that lame-ass organization.”

Geragos was allegedly involved with Michael Avenatti’s effort to extort $20 million from Nike.

He railed against CNN calling them the “Cut and Run Network” and claimed he’d worked there for 20 years:

“They ought to change their name to the ‘Cut and Run Network. I’ve been texted by all of their anchors who are as outraged as I am that after 20 years, a press conference is enough to have them immediately want to disassociate themselves.”

Geragos is one of the lawyers defending Jussie Smollett. That tells you all you need to know about this lawyer. He speaks about the case in the beginning of the audio below and then speaks about CNN at around the 5-minute mark:

Geragos is not charged with a crime but it is alleged that he tried with Avenatti to extort Nike.

This could become interesting if Geragos follows through with some details from behind the scenes at CNN.

Geragos previously represented Colin Kaepernick and now Jussie Smollett. The California lawyer was a perfect fit for CNN.

He’s represented some doozies: Suge Knight and Sean “Diddy” Combs, actress Winona Ryder, boxer Mike Tyson, singer Chris Brown and convicted murderer Scott Peterson.

He got Michael Jackson out of a child molestation charge so this guy deserves everything that’s coming to him.
