This is a rough week for Chicago! With the Jussie Smollett hate hoax case and now the R. Kelly charges of criminal sexual abuse, the Chicago Police Department has their hands full.
Rumors have been swirling for years about R. Kelly’s sexual misconduct with minors and now the truth is out with the 10 charges of criminal sexual abuse of minors from 13-16 years old.
The R & B singer continues to deny the allegations. He does have a huge track record of “dating” minors.
The singer’s real name is Robert Kelly and he is 52-years old. He’s famous for hits like “I Believe I Can Fly”.
This isn’t the first time the R & B star has been in trouble for sexual misconduct with underage girls. He was able to get out of a 2008 charge of having sex with a 13-year old. The act was even recorded on video where you could clearly see the suspect but he was acquitted on child pornography charges. There were claims of paying off witnesses and other corrupt tactics by the defense to help R. Kelly skate without any punishment.

This time, it doesn’t look so good for the singer. He’s under investigation by the FBI, Homeland Security and the IRS.
There is a video of him having sex with another 13-year old that will be evidence of his sexual misconduct.
R. Kelly was charged Friday with several counts of sexual abuse in Cook County.
Cook County court records show Kelly was charged Friday with ten felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
In order to discredit one of his accusers, R. Kelly posted a sex tape with her on his website.
R. Kelly has been accused of keeping women against their will. His misconduct was documented in a recent biopic titled “Surviving R. Kelly”
