Chick-Fil-A is one of the few chains Conservatives have trusted not to ram an agenda down anyone’s throat. Yet disappointingly, the company has decided to join a woke Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Board.

Most Americans would like to purchase their favorite products without feeling like they are showing support for a moral or political belief. Yet corporate chains refuse to leave Americans alone. They insist on inserting their values into the business-customer relationship.

Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary said companies that go woke are making a huge mistake. He asked,
“do you ever hear a CEO talk about abortion? Never because that is an issue that will never be resolved.” He continued, “It’s partisan forever – you never touch it. When you get involved in a fight like that, you lose 50% of your constituency.”

And yet despite watching the backlash against Bud Light, and Target, Chick-Fil-A has decided to jump into the woke camp after building its successes on its hugely conservative customer base.

The company was featured on the DEI Board website, announcing that Erick McReynolds is a new board member.

According to the post Erick McReynolds is an experienced director in the restaurant industry and in charge of diversity, equity and inclusion at Chick-Fil-A. He is joining the DEI board as its newest member.

This is not a position that is just given, it is applied for. According to Board DEI’s website everyone goes through the same application process to become a member. The site describes the board as the “membership organization for people leading diversity, equity and inclusion at the world’s biggest companies.”

Chick-Fil-A may have a weak grasp of its customer demographics. The decision to join the DEI Board is resulting in social media calls to boycott the restaurant that has apparently turned it’s back on a large portion of its clientele.

The Family Research Council spoke with Pastor Lucas Miles about woke corporate policies. Pastor Miles weighed in, saying the woke corporate activism taking place amongst large companies in America has a sinister goal. He shared that initially, he wondered why companies were taking advantage of the mental health crises in the country but has recently become convinced that it is part of an intentional plan to ruin the country.

“I really believe that this is all part of the plan, that this is part of this dismantling of the American way of life that the radical left has been so intent on for so long that’s driven by this Marxist substructure that we have. And because it’s one company after another. Addidas to Ford, to many others. Levi’s, Calvin Klein, the list goes on and on.”
