Samuel L. Jackson grew up in segregated Tennessee. In a recent interview with Esquire magazine, Jackson revealed his hatred for President Trump and explained his radical past, including his role a hostage-taking situation in college.

The actor who plays “Nick Fury” in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man movies is also slated to star in the Netflix network’s  “Unicorn Store,” in April. Jackson will also star in the upcoming sequel to the popular “Shaft” show.

According to Esquire, Jackson, who said he grew up in a world was entirely black, is the highest-grossing film actor of all time, with his movies accounting for an estimated $13 billion combined.

Carvelle Wallace interviewed Jackson at his country club for the Esquire piece. In his article, the black Esquire writer marveled at the classless actor’s level of comfort with using the n-word and his frequent use of the word “motherfucker” in the dining area of the country club, around “handfuls of glitter as Grandpa- and Memaw-type club members look awkwardly into their eggs Benedict.” Wallace boasts about Jackson’s boorish behavior, adding, “He behaves not only like a man who belongs here but also like one who basically owns the place. His casual inattention to the perceived authority of white power structures is so deeply woven into his way of being that in his presence, it seems bizarre that anyone, anywhere, would think to behave differently. A lot of people like to say they don’t give a fuck. Samuel L. Jackson simply doesn’t.”

When Jackson was asked if he worries about antagonizing fans who support President Trump, he responded:

I know how many motherf–kers hate me. “I’m never going to see a Sam Jackson movie again.” F–k I care? If you never went to another movie I did in my life, I’m not going to lose any money. I already cashed that check. F–k you. Burn up my videotapes. I don’t give a f–k.”

Jackson attended the historically black Morehouse College, in Atlanta, GA. He recalls his time at the college with the Esquire writer.

He found himself alongside stern, Afroed, black-fisted men newly returned from the war in Vietnam and carrying a radical militancy that made sense to the young Tennessean who had been warned as a child not to even look white people in the eye.

The militant actor explained how his radicalism in college led him to take part in a multi-day siege of the Board of trustees at the college, that included taking hostages, including Martin Luther King, Sr., who they had to let go because of a heart condition. He also explains how he was part of a scheme to steal white people’s credit cards and use them to stockpile weapons for a potential race war. Jackson was suspended for his role in the hostage takeover.

So, the man who grew up in an entirely black world and is also the highest-grossing actor of all-time, is telling 50% of the fans who made him rich and famous to go f–k themselves? Sounds about right…
