The firm behind the phony Steele Dossier pushed a journalist to spread their fake news about President Trump in 2016

The Russiagate debacle stemmed largely from the Steele Dossier and other disinformation put out by the Clinton Campaign and their allies in 2016. It has since been determined, although it was obvious all along, that the entire Dossier was phony–and that the Trump-Russia connection was a sham cooked up by Hillary Clinton’s campaign in order to discredit President Trump as they attempted to keep him from the White House.

Former Clinton Campaign counsel Michael Sussmann

Laura Seago, a member of the Fusion GPS Research Firm which concocted the Dossier along with former British spy Christopher Steele, testified during Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann’s trial that the firm had met with and lied to a journalist in order to get said journalist to push the fake Trump-Russia connection for them.

From the New York Post:

Seago told jurors at Sussmann’s trial that the meeting with Franklin Foer came after she was tasked with “translating” computer data that purported to show a secret back channel between a Trump Organization server and Russia’s Alfa Bank, so it could be understood by “a lay audience.”

Seago, Fusion GPS co-founder Peter Fritsch, a former Wall Street Journal reporter, and Fusion employee Jake Berkowitz, met up at Foer’s house in the fall of 2016, she said.

During the hourlong sit-down, they told Foer that the information had been vetted by “highly credible computer scientists” who “seemed to think these allegations were credible,” Seago testified.

Just 8 days prior to the election, Foer wrote a story titled “Was a Trump Server Communicating With Russia?”

The hiring and handling of Fusion GPS was overseen by Clinton counsel Michael Sussmann and Marc Elias.

This was a coordinated effort by the Clinton campaign, their counsel such as Sussmann and Elias, and the research firm they hired Fusion GPS to manipulate the outcome of an election by lying to journalists, lying to the public, and producing disinformation across the board to discredit President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

More and more dirt keeps coming out in the trial of Michael Sussmann, thanks to special counsel John Durham,
