The Democratic debate last night was a snoozer but the tense exchange between Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders after the debate is making news today.
Liz Warren is sinking in the polls so she pulled out the sexist card by pushing out the rumor that Bernie said a woman could never win the presidency. During the debate, the question came up and Sanders denied he said anything like that (video below). After the debate, Warren appears as though she refused to shake Sanders’ hand. It was all for the cameras and was an old fashioned political setup.
Watch the video below that CNN conveniently found today showing Warren (who knows she’s on a hot mic) claiming Bernie called her a liar on national TV:
Warren: “I think you called me a liar on national TV.”
Sanders: “What?”
Warren: “I think you called me a liar on national TV,” she repeated.
Sanders: “You know, let’s not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion.”
Warren: “Anytime”
Sanders: “You called me a liar…You told me…all right, let’s not do it now.”
