It’s no secret that President Trump and favorite left-wing news network CNN are not exactly on the best of terms with each other.

After all, the folks working there have essentially dedicated themselves completely to doing anything and everything to try and destroy his presidency, whether it’s interviewing porn stars or trying to pass off his presidential victory on Russian collusion.

Several times, both in person and online, the president has made it clear that he has little respect for CNN, not taking questions from their reporters, calling them fake news, posting GIFs on Twitter, ect.

Given this tumultuous relationship, it’s probably tearing CNN to pieces to find that, even with their skewed media coverage, a recent poll they conducted shows Trump’s approval rating soaring.

The Daily Wire is reporting:

The latest poll — which surveyed 1,014 people (“29% described themselves as Democrats, 25% described themselves as Republicans, and 46% described themselves as independents or members of another party”) — showed Trump’s approval rating at 42%. That’s the highest mark in the liberal network’s survey since the 100-day mark of the Trump presidency.

“Approval is up 7 points overall since February, including 6-point increases among Republicans (from 80% to 86% now) and independents (from 35% to 41% now),” CNN reported. “Trump’s approval rating remains below that of all of his modern-era predecessors at this stage in their first term after being elected, though Trump only trails Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama by a narrow 4 points at this point in their first terms.”

Trump’s strongest approval ratings on the issues come on the economy: 48% approve and 45% disapprove.

It seems strange seeing something positive about Trump on CNN, but don’t worry, the network didn’t let it last long. They also took an opportunity to deeply discuss what Americans think of the president’s alleged affairs, noting that 63 percent of those polled believe the women coming forward, while only 21 percent buy into his denial of the liaisons.

The problem with news organizations like CNN is that they have created a bubble, spending all of their time and energy cultivating a single, like-minded audience full of liberals who hate Trump and have not actually engaged the issues or solutions the president has put into action.

When they finally reach out to the average American and find they are pretty satisfied with the direction things are going, it bursts their bubble and leaves them in a state of shock.

If they were an objective source that sought to be as fair and balanced in their news coverage as possible, they would soon discover exactly why Trump got elected in the first place, much of which had to do with their own skewed media coverage.
