The comedian responsible for the best minute on TV in years is continuing his fearless honesty directed at the cancel culture in Hollywood.  Who could forget comedian Ricky Gervais’ opening monologue at the Golden Globes? He let Hollywood virtue signalers have it in an epic moment that even had Tom Hanks in shock.

Just listen to this fantastic takedown of the left:

“You say you’re woke, but the companies you work for are unbelievable. Apple, Amazon, Disney. If ISIS started a streaming service, you’d call your agent, wouldn’t you?”

“You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your god and then f**k off.”

Fast forward and Gervais was just interviewed on talkRadio where he talked about his hit show The Office and went after the cancel culture on social media:

“There’s this new weird sort of fascism of people thinking they know what you can say and what you can’t and it’s a really weird thing… that there’s this new trendy myth that people who want free speech want to say awful things all the time. It’s just isn’t true, it protects everyone.”

“Just because you’re offended, it doesn’t mean you’re right.”

Actor and comedian Gervais said his BAFTA-winning show The Office wouldn’t even be able to be made today because of the climate of censorship and pc culture.
