I think we’ve heard it all!

A Pennsylvania man’s ‘gun-like hand gesture’ has been ruled a crime by the court.

During an argument with his neighbor, Steve Kirchner, “stopped, made eye contact with the neighbor and then made a hand gesture at him imitating the firing and recoiling of a gun.”

According to WGAL, neighbors who witnessed the hand gesture called 911 because they felt “extremely threatened”.

Kirchner was charged with disorderly conduct and appealed. He argued that the hand gesture didn’t “create a hazardous or physically offensive condition.” He also claimed his neighbor gave him “the finger” so he made the hand gesture in response.

On Tuesday, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania found the gesture “served no legitimate purpose, and recklessly risked provoking a dangerous altercation.”

What do you think about this decision by the court?
