Hillary Clinton took to Twitter on Tuesday questioning whether President Trump and other Republicans are “slowing mail delivery” to complicate a potential mail-in ballot system for the November election. “I fear Republican sabotage of the USPS, including slowing mail delivery, is a Trump strategy to make voting by mail more difficult this fall. Request your ballots and return them as early as you can,” she wrote.

While some took Clinton’s tweet as a serious call to action, others pointed out that she makes a case for what Trump and others have claimed about mail fraud and voting in person all along.

For weeks, the liberal media has pushed the far-left narrative that mail-in voting was the way to go. “The media has spent weeks pushing the narrative that mail-in voting is the bee’s knees and Hillary goes and blows it all up by tweeting that mail-in voting is ripe for fraud 😂,” wrote one Twitter user in response.

Clinton isn’t the only person with this stance. Former President Obama also asserted that Trump is using “surgical precision” in “undermining the Postal Service in the run-up to an election that is going to be dependent on mailed-in ballots so people don’t get sick.” Give me a break!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also claimed that Republicans’ potential failure to pass a bill bailing out the long-bankrupt U.S. Postal Service means they want to “diminish the capacity of the Postal System to work in a timely fashion.”

“I fear Democrat sabotage of the election, including colluding with foreign agents to collect and distribute false information to media co-conspirators in order to weaponize our law enforcement & intell communities to spy on Republicans. Wait, she already did that. 👇🏻,” commentator Dan Bongino concluded.

Despite recent criticism by Democrats, USPS spokesman David Partenheimer assured The New York Times that USPS has “ample capacity to adjust our nationwide processing and delivery network to meet projected election and political mail volume, including any additional volume that may result as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Since the beginnings of the coronavirus shutdowns, President Trump criticized mail-in voting, saying that the potential for “fraud and abuse” could “lead to the end of our great Republican party.”

“RIGGED 2020 ELECTION: MILLIONS OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS WILL BE PRINTED BY FOREIGN COUNTRIES, AND OTHERS. IT WILL BE THE SCANDAL OF OUR TIMES!,” he said in another tweet in June.

“Mail-In Voting, unless changed by the courts, will lead to the most CORRUPT ELECTION in our Nation’s History! #RIGGEDELECTION,” Trump added in July.
