Democrat Michael Bloomberg couldn’t have chosen a worse topic for a Super Bowl commercial…gun control. The topic of gun control is a loser in a general election.

The ad aired right after halftime during the Super Bowl and is about going after the “gun lobby.”

Bloomberg is notoriously anti-gun and used a woman who lost a son to gun violence to get his message across.

This shows how out of touch Bloomberg has always been with Americans. Does he REALLY believe that people watching the Super Bowl will remember a political ad that wants to go after the “gun lobby”?

Michael Bloomberg is paying $10 million to run an ad focused on his gun-control advocacy during the Super Bowl but the ad makes a false claim that “2,900 children die from gun violence every year”… half that number appears to be adults.

Reason Reports that Michael Bloomberg’s Claim About ‘Children’ Killed by ‘Gun Violence’ Is Off by 73%

According to to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, FactCheck.org notes, the average number of firearm-related deaths involving Americans 17 or younger from 2013 through 2017 (the period used by Everytown for Gun Safety) was about 1,500, roughly half the number cited by Bloomberg. Furthermore, nearly two-fifths of those deaths were suicides, meaning the number of minors killed each year by “gun violence,” as that term is usually understood, is about 73 percent smaller than the figure cited in Bloomberg’s ad.

The case highlighted by the TV spot does not actually fit into any of these categories. The ad features Calandrian Kemp, whose 20-year-old son, George, was shot to death in 2013 at a park in Richmond, a Houston suburb, during a confrontation that a Texas appeals court described as “gang-related.” According to the court, “two groups of young men, most of them teenagers, had met that night for a fight.” Two of them, including an 18-year-old, Corey Coleman, fired the handgun rounds that struck Kemp. Coleman was convicted of murder and sentenced to 34 years in prison.

Even MSNBC said Bloomberg’s policy of gun control is a loser in a general election:

This MSNBC panel nails why former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is unelectable. They mention two things from Bloomberg’s past policies that spell trouble for the billionaire politician.

Bloomberg is remembered for wanting gun control in a big way. That’s a loser in a general election.

Also, Bloomberg will always be remembered for his soda tax. He was Mayor of New York City when he proposed a soda tax for Big Gulp sodas. This was a big government move that was meant to control the consumption of soda. That might have played in New York City but Americans typically reject Nanny State proposals.

Bloomberg is also on video praising Communist China:

Michael Bloomberg is testing the waters for a run at being a candidate for the Democratic nomination in 2020. Is he a serious candidate or just a place-holder for someone else who will come in at the last minute?

The candidates out there right now are losers who would be unelectable in a general election, so Democrats are desperately looking for someone else to jump in. Is Bloomberg the one, or is there another candidate out there waiting in the wings?

Bloomberg has too much baggage and is a strong anti-gun advocate. He’s pro-Communist China too:

Democrat presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg defended the Communist Party of China in September

China has millions in concentration camps…Steals US tech…Spys on the US…Clamping down on freedom

Firing Line host Margaret Hoover ripped him for it:
