Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the gift that keeps on giving to the Republican Party. She claimed that illegal aliens can’t be criminalized because they are “descendants of Native people”.
She spoke out against ICE and the border patrol with a doozy of a claim:
“We are standing on Native land, and Latino people are descendants of Native people. And we cannot be told and criminalized simply for our identity and our status.”
Does she want to grant native status to all Latinos? This is the thinking that goes on with the far, far left like La Raza.

The rally today was also attended by Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar who also had outrageous things to say:
This is how off the rails the Democrats are these days. The left has been protesting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) but the latest comment by a Freshman Congresswoman is over the top and false.
Freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar made the false claim during a rally today that refugees who come to the United States are “detained and tortured.”
The rally promoted the goal of defunding ICE:
“The difference between what is happening to some of those little girls and me is that I didn’t have a cage waiting for me. I had an open-armed people with moral clarity, awaiting us and saying ‘you’ve been through a lot, here’s your new home, you’re our new neighbor, you need water and you need food.'”
Omar claimed refugees don’t get the same “open-armed” treatment:
“They are separated and processed. They are detained and tortured. And we can’t continue to allow that to happen. At least not under our watch.”
The claims from this woman are ridiculous!
President Donald Trump addressed immigration at his 2019 State of the Union:
“This is a moral issue. The lawless state of our Southern border is a threat to the safety, security and financial well-being of all Americans. We have a moral duty to create an immigration system that protects the lives and jobs of our citizens. This includes our obligation to the millions of immigrants living here today, who followed the rules and respected our laws. Legal immigrants enrich our nation and strengthen our society in countless ways. I want people to come into our country in the largest numbers ever, but they have to come in legally.”
