On a flight this past week, Democrat Rep. Brad Sherman of California was caught in the act of viewing some very questionable photos.
Someone snapped some pictures of Rep. Sherman scrolling through his iPad, very happily perusing ‘adult’ images of young women.
See for yourself:
Why did California Congressman Brad Sherman feel it was appropriate to look at porn on his iPad during a flight today? His district deserves better representation than this!! #CA32 pic.twitter.com/gAYZ82tyr2

Here’s a closer look at the images Rep. Sherman was looking at:

Look at his expression in that last photo!
He looks very happy about looking at this smut on a public flight filled with children, no less…
Gross
His mouth hanging open. What a perv.

What a disgusting old man.
But it gets even worse.
After the photos went viral for all the wrong reasons, Rep. Sherman tried to do damage control by claiming innocence.
It wasn’t his fault! It’s Elon Musk’s for “ruining” the X algorithm.
Yes, really.
Fox News shared Rep. Sherman’s response:
Sherman denied the allegations, and a spokesperson for the congressman told Fox News Digital the pictures appeared because of his algorithm on X, formerly Twitter.
“This was nothing more than scrolling through Twitter, and, unfortunately, Elon Musk has ruined the Twitter algorithm to give people content that they don’t ask for or subscribe to,” a spokesperson for Sherman told Fox News Digital in an email.
Sherman similarly told Punchbowl News the images appeared on his X feed under the “For You” section of X, a page that shows recommended content.
“This was on Twitter. These pictures came up on ‘For You’,” Sherman told Punchbowl News, adding he viewed a variety of posts during his cross-country flight.
ADVERTISEMENT“If you have to fly across the country, you look at a lot of stuff on your tablet,” he said.
“If I see a picture of a woman, might I look at it longer than a sunset? Yeah.”
When asked whether he thought the content was appropriate to view on a plane, Sherman told Punchbowl News, “Is it pornography? I don’t think Elon Musk thinks so. Is it appropriate? No.”
What Rep. Sherman apparently doesn’t realize is that the X algorithm works by giving you more of what you view.
As he admitted, he might look at pictures of women “longer than a sunset…”
Very frequently. Especially if the ladies are scantily-clad.
But, hey, this dude is 71 years old. He obviously doesn’t understand how the internet works.
Take a look at these replies giving the old geezer a lesson on the algorithm:
He had to look at DOZENS of pics until he realized it was those damed algorithms. Again

The algorithm isn’t going to put it in your feed if it’s not something you frequently view. So either he watches it a lot or he watches it a lot!

He blamed the Algorithm
The algorithm only happens because it noticed he likes to watch smut!!
