Cory Booker is one of 25 Democrats running for president but he’s just proven he’s unelectable. Booker just released his immigration plan and it’s a disaster. On top of that, ICE already uses the methods of detention he’s proposing. His plan would ‘virtually eliminate immigration detention.’ So he’s going to just let everyone in…but, but, but, they’ll be ‘monitored’.
According to Daily Mail, Booker also vowed to severely limit the time unaccompanied children are held in detention. So where will the kids be sent because he plans on ending for-profit detention facilities? He would phase out government contracts with private prison operators over the course of three years so where do the illegals go?
Here’s where they go…Anywhere they want!
Booker’s plan proposes they be monitored using ‘alternatives to detention,’ like some of the methods already being utilized by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
ICE already uses ankle bracelets, bonds and in-person and phone check-ins.
Booker is just one more open borders Democrat who is putting illegals before legal Americans. Pathetic!
JULIAN CASTRO ALSO WANTS OPEN BORDERS:
Obama’s former HUD (Housing and Urban Development) Secretary Julián Castro just called for the decriminalization of illegal border crossings.
This is now a part of his 2020 presidential platform on immigration.
Castro announced his candidacy for the White House in January.
In the past Castro has voiced support for open borders: “The truth is, immigrants seeking refuge in our country aren’t a threat to national security” and that “migration shouldn’t be a criminal justice issue.”
Castro has a close connection to the radical group called “La Raza” aka The Race, so it’s no wonder he believes in open borders. His mother was a member of La Raza as Fox News reported in 2012 when Castro was the Mayor of San Antonio:
Castro’s mom was a member of a radical civil rights movement and who reportedly thinks the truth behind the Battle of the Alamo is that Texans swiped Mexico’s land.
Maria del Rosario Castro, the mother of San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, said in 2010 that she grew up being told the battle was “glorious,” only to learn the so-called heroes were really “a bunch of drunks and crooks and slaveholding imperialists who conquered land that didn’t belong to them.”
“But as a little girl I got the message — we were losers,” she told The New York Times Magazine. “I can truly say that I hate that place and everything it stands for.”
The Alamo, then a sprawling mission for missionaries and American Indian converts, was attacked in February 1836 by Mexican General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. Though historical accounts vary, Texans, including famous frontiersman Davy Crockett, fought back for 13 days only to surrender, on March 6.
Maria del Rosario Castro also was a member of the La Raza Unida, a radical movement that defended the civil rights of Mexican-Americans in Texas.
The 37-year-old Hispanic mayor told New York Times Magazine that upon being elected mayor in 2009 he promptly hung in his private office a 1971 La Raza Unida City Council campaign poster that featured his mother.
Castro called for the removal of Section 1325, the law which has made illegal entry a federal misdemeanor since 1929, arguing that the rule has been weaponized to target immigrants.
“These laws got a new life in 2005, when the Bush administration decided to charge those that crossed the border with criminal violations, rather than civil ones,” the former San Antonio, Texas, mayor explained.
