In typical Democrat style, Rep.Eric Swalwell is now trying to use strong-arm tactics to prevent our US troops from accessing a political perspective that’s different from his own.

Swalwell called out Fox News for misinformation while also telling the news station that they needed to “clean up” their evening line-up by removing Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham.

Swalwell’s comments came while he was interviewed on MSNBC and asked about the lawsuit between the Dominion voting system and Fox News. Host Katie Phang asked if there should be Congressional intervention and action taken against the news channel after news anchors questioned the fairness of the elections. MSNBC, true to its Communist leanings of suggesting censorship on information that doesn’t fit its political leanings or labeling this information as “disinformation” while hypocritically trying to affirm the first amendment, asked:

“Have there been any discussions in Congress about congressional oversight, regulations, and the FCC getting involved? I know we all respect the First Amendment, Congressman, but should there be some type of gatekeeping that happens so that this doesn’t happen again?”

Swalwell responded by saying that perhaps Fox News should be banned from the military bases despite its popularity with the armed forces,

“Nothing makes them feel more like home than their access to American television programming,” “I don’t want to get in the business of telling troops what they can and cannot watch. But, if you have a news station that a court is going to rule is, in its evening hour, you know, perpetuating dis- and misinformation, I don’t know if I disagree with VoteVets, who was saying that we need to take a look at, you know, how this is being broadcast to our troops.”

It’s interesting that Rep. Swalwell, one of the most disingenuous members of Congress, admits that being able to watch American news is so important to our US troops. He also confirms that Fox News is a very “popular” network with the troops and then follows up his statement by explaining to the MSNBC host why the privilege of watching the top-rated cable news network needs to be taken away from our troops. Swalwell almost sounds like a Communist lawmaker…perhaps his Chinese spy girlfriend Fang-Fang rubbed off on the dishonest Democrat.

If MSNBC’s genuine interest was pushing news organizations to hold higher standards of journalism, they could first initiate change at home. Russell Brand admonished MSNBC’s John Heilemann for condemning Fox News and called out the many false narratives that have been aired on MSNBC. Brand noted that MSNBC went after Joe Rogan after he talked about the effectiveness of Ivermectin and that MSNBC, despite evidence to the contrary, pushed a false narrative that Ivermectin was for horses, not humans. Brand lacerated Heilmann’s record saying, “Bickering about which propagandist network is the worse is not going to save a single American life, nor improve the life of a single American child, nor going to improve America’s standing in the world, and the world needs a strong America…you have an obligation and a duty.”

Last week, Jimmy Dore tweeted the Brand/Heilmann debate and added a short list of MSNBC lies:

-Ukraine War is Unprovoked

-Russia Stole Election

-Russiagate Conspiracy Theory for 5 Years

-Vaxx Stops Transmission

-Ivermectin Dangerous

-We Can Vaxx Our Way Out Of A Pandemic

-Masks

-Biden Dementia

-Syrian Gas Attacks

-Lab Leak= Racism
