Rep. Devin Nunes joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures and let it rip on the DOJ…He threatened that if they didn’t turn over requested documents by Monday, there would be ‘hell to pay’. The requested documents have even been subpoenaed but the Department of Justice has been slow walking everything. Nunes even said the DOJ is trying to “run out the clock” to the end of this season of Congress. The subpoenaed documents pertain to FISA abuse investigation and the Russia investigation. Nunes has been a straight shooter throughout his tenure as Chairman of the Intel Committee and is FED UP with the stonewalling from the DOJ and FBI. Contempt of Congress is a possible charge if documents aren’t turned over. Let’s hope he follows through with his threat!
Gateway Pundit reports:
Rep. Devin Nunes: The deadline is this week. So if documents begin to be turned over tomorrow and a clear way and path forward for everything else is not clear here in the next couple of days there’s going to be hell to pay by Wednesday morning… All of the members of the House of Representatives are going to start taking action against the Department of Justice and FBI.
Maria Bartiromo: Taking action meaning contempt of Congress?
