Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum might have pulled off an upset victory in Tuesday’s primary but his agenda won’t speak to most citizens of Florida. Gillum ran on a socialist agenda promising health care for all and guaranteeing a $15 minimum wage. He also follows many on the far left in wanting to abolish ICE even though it was recently reported that only one-fourth of Democrats agree.

Gillum was supported by the usual far left people like socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders and mega-bucks liberal donor Tom Steyer.

CNN’s John Berman quizzed Gillum on his far left agenda:

THEY DISCUSSED ABOLISHING ICE:

Gillum tired to sidestep the topic by saying he’d like to REPLACE ICE with the DOJ? Berman came right back and said it’s really the same thing as abolishing ICE…OUCH!

BERMAN ASKED ABOUT HEALTHCARE:

Gillum wants healthcare for EVERYONE. He considers healthcare a right and not a privilege.

“I am a champion for treating health care as a right, not a privilege. That’s absolutely right…And expanding Medicaid in the state of Florida for 700,000 people, who right now don’t have access to health care.”

He wants a one billion dollar tax increase among other things. In other words, Gillum wants Florida to be Venezuela…BROKE!

We agree with President Trump’s assessment of this candidate who might have handed the office of Florida governor to DeSantis on a silver platter. We can hope the voters in that state don’t buy into the socialist agenda!
