Almost everything Nathan Phillips says is untrue. So journalists and former Marines are asking why anyone should believe him when he tells the media he was a “Marine recon Ranger” in Vietnam?

In an April 2018 article, Phillips told Vogue (the former fashion magazine turned leftist, political activist, publication, that also includes fashion) that he was a Marine “recon ranger;”

“You know, I’m from Vietnam times. I’m what they call a recon ranger. That was my role.

In an embarrassing interview with an activist reporter Niraj Warikoo, for the Detroit Free Press, Phillips explains the fear he felt while walking into a group of young teenage boys who had their backs to him when he busted into their group and banged his drum inches from their faces. The boys were waiting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for their bus to take them back home to Kentucky after participating in the March for Life when Phillips busted into their group with his followers who had just participated in the “Indigenous Peoples March”.

“They were in the process of attacking these four black individuals,” Phillip said. “I was there and I was witnessing all of this … As this kept on going on and escalating, it just got to a point where you do something or you walk away, you know? You see something that is wrong, and you’re faced with that choice of right or wrong. “

Here’s the video of Phillips approaching them from behind and breaching their group to get inside. This video also shows the group of “Black Israelites” who were shouting horrible profane comments at the young kids, who chose to take the high road, and stand with their backs towards them and drown them out with school spirit chants.

Phillips said some of the members of the Black Hebrew group were also acting up, “saying some harsh things” and that one member spit in the direction of the Catholic students. “So I put myself in between that, between a rock and hard place,” he said.

But then, the crowd of mostly male students turned their anger towards Phillips.

“There was that moment when I realized I’ve put myself between beast and prey,” Phillips said. “These young men were beastly and these old black individuals was their prey, and I stood in between them and so they needed their pounds of flesh and they were looking at me for that.

Watch, as the con artist, Nathaniel Phillips attempts to gain sympathy for targeting the boys from CNN host Ana Cabrera. Phillips says was a “Vietnam times Veteran?”  In their copy at the bottom, CNN changes his quote, leaving out the “cons” part.

Here’s the video of Phillips walking into the crowd of boys who were all smiling, and appeared to be having fun with Phillips, not understanding that he was targeting them. Watch, as 64-year-old Phillips zeroes in on his teenage victim, stares him down and bangs his drum inches from his face. In the video, Phillips, who is appears to be a student of Saul Alinsky, brilliantly executes Alinsky Rule #13 in his Rules For Radicals guidebook, as he targets the young, conservative, pro-life Covington Catholic High School kid wearing a Trump hat.

Alinsky Rule #13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

In this part of the interview with the Detroit Free Press activist journalist,  Phillips explains the fear he felt, recalling his time as a Marine in Vietnam that helped him to deal with the fear he was facing with this hostile group…LOL!

Speaking from his niece’s home, Phillips said: “I’m a Marine Corps veteran and I know what that mob mentality can be like. That’s where it was at. It got to a point where they just needed something for them to … just tear them apart. I mean, it was that ugly.”

Here’s a screenshot of the kid’s faces, as they appear to be smiling just before Phillips isolated and targeted one of the teens close by:

Phillips said he recalled “the looks in these young men’s faces … I mean, if you go back and look at the lynchings that was done (in America) …and you’d see the faces on the people … The glee and the hatred in their faces, that’s what these faces looked like.”

“When I took that drum and started singing, I placed myself in between these two factions of people. It wasn’t a real conscious process, it was just what they call a spur of the moment.”

Following Phillips remarks on several news outlets about his service in the US Marines during the Vietnam war, many on Twitter, attempted to connect the dots to Phillips story about being a “Marine Recon Ranger” in Vietnam. Unfortunately, for the lying leftist, agitator, the dots were not connecting, and it wasn’t long before Phillips and his lie about being a combat vet in Vietnam was exposed.

The Washington Post was forced to retract their glowing story about “Nathan Phillps” and how he “fought in the Vietnam War.” Of course, fact-checking outlets like NewsGuard and Poltifact will gloss over the multiple lies told by mainstream media, and instead, focus on desrtroying the crediblity of conservative leaning sites like ours.

Army Special Forces veteran Jim Hanson was one of the first to call out Phillips, saying “He claims two tours as a Marine Recon Ranger. There is NO such thing. #FakeNews”

Retired U.S. Marine Corp. Gunnery Seargent, Jessie Jane Duff says Phillips calls himself a Ranger Recon Marine – NO such thing exists. She also reminds everyone that Marine combat units withdrew when Phillips was only 16-years-old. According to his testimony in the Detroit Free Press article, Phillips was still living in foster care when he was 17-years-old.

Newsmax host John Cardillo also called out Phillips for his USMC Recon claim while he served in Vietnam. Cardillo provides a link with proof that shows the USMC had already deployed from combat zones in Da Nang at the time Phillips claimed he was serving as a Marine Recon Ranger.

Nathan Phillips is 64. He claims to have seen combat with USMC Recon in Vietnam.

Problem is, he’d have been 16 years old when the USMC left Vietnam.

“14 April 1971, III MAF redeployed…two months later the last ground troops…flew out from Da Nang.”

According to the Detroit Free Press article, Phillips was in foster care until he was 17 -years-old: Born in Nebraska into the Omaha tribe, Phillips said he was five years old when he was “taken away from my family and put in foster care … until I was 17.”

MLB great, and Townhall journalist, Kurt Schlichter admonishes other journalists for joining the leftist mob to trash a group of teenagers while being too lazy to check out Phillips’ military record.

Jim Hanson tweets the article where Phillips makes his Marine Recon Ranger claim:

John Cardillo perfectly summed it up with this tweet:

Had we not called out Nathan Phillips lies, the MSM would have buried the raw video, covered up the truth, and knowingly destroyed the lives of the kids on a lie that fit their Trump hate narrative. They would never have corrected the record on their own.

Thank God Twitter hasn’t silenced every conservative voice, or this horrible story would have had a much different ending.
