Disney Cruise Line has updated their vaccination requirements for passengers and is now requiring that all children as young as 5 years old be vaccinated against Covid.

These new requirements are detailed on Disney Cruise Line’s website:

Currently, Disney Cruise Line continues to require all vaccine-eligible Guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at the time of sailing. This will be a requirement for all Guests ages 5 and up for sailings beginning on or after January 13, 2022. Guests who are not vaccine-eligible because of age must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (paid for by the Guest) taken between 3 days and 24 hours before their sail date. Guests ages 5 through 11 may complete this testing requirement in lieu of being fully vaccinated for sailings that depart before January 13, 2022. Guests 4 years of age and under must complete the testing requirements. The test should be a NAAT test, rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test.

Depending on the destination of your cruise, passengers typically wouldn’t need to present proof of any vaccinations to board. There are CDC-recommended vaccinations, but no hard-line requirements for most countries.

Even measles, which is much more contagious than Covid-19 and can cause more serious long-term health issues, is not something that you’re required to be vaccinated for. It is encouraged by the CDC that you are vaccinated or have proof of immunity, but a requirement? Nope! For some reason, Covid is the only disease to fear now, regardless of whether you are in an at-risk category. For most healthy young children and young adults, the most severe symptoms are flu-like symptoms. But do they have to have gotten their flu vaccination that year prior to boarding the ship? Again, no!

Now, in order for children to experience the magic of a Disney cruise, they have to receive a Covid vaccination. Even though children without underlying medical conditions are often asymptomatic and don’t experience severe symptoms, they are still being forced to get vaccinated so they don’t spread it. However, isn’t this exactly why the at-risk members of society have gotten vaccinated? So they can more effectively fight off the virus? The Left is pushing the effectiveness of this shot, but if it is so effective, why should a 5-year-old be forced to get vaccinated? Aren’t the vaccinated adults safe now?
