In addition to two debates offered by Joe Biden, Donald Trump said he accepted a third date to face off against Biden.

“Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that I hereby accept debating Crooked Joe Biden on FoxNews. The date will be Wednesday, October 2nd. The Hosts will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. Thank you, DJT!” Trump said on Truth Social.

Joe Biden currently hasn’t acknowledged the Fox News-moderated debate.

Per The Guardian:

Donald Trump says he will participate in a third presidential debate hosted by Fox News in October, but it is unclear if Joe Biden, whose campaign has proposed only two encounters between the two men before the November election, will join him.

Trump accepted Biden’s offer to debate on CNN and ABC News.

“I’ve received and accepted an invitation from CNN for a debate on June 27th. Over to you, Donald. As you said: anywhere, any time, any place,” Biden said.

“I’ve also received and accepted an invitation to a debate hosted by ABC on Tuesday, September 10th. Trump says he’ll arrange his own transportation. I’ll bring my plane, too. I plan on keeping it for another four years,” he added.

“It is my great honor to accept the CNN Debate against Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT in the History of the United States and a true Threat to Democracy, on June 27th. Likewise, I accept the ABC News Debate against Crooked Joe on September 10th. Thank you, DJT!” Trump responded.

Deadline reports:

Hours after Joe Biden and Donald Trump‘s campaigns swiftly finalized plans for two presidential debates, the president’s team is already warning that his rival is “playing games.”

“No more chaos, no more debate about debates,” Biden campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement this afternoon.

It came after Trump posted on Truth Social that he had agreed to another debate, beyond the two, that would be hosted by Fox News on Oct. 2 and moderated by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

Earlier today, both campaigns said that they had agreed to participate in a June 27 debate hosted by CNN and a September 10 debate hosted by ABC News. Biden released a video this morning challenging Trump to two debates, much earlier in the election year schedule than have traditionally been held.

“President Biden made his terms clear for two one-on-one debates, and Donald Trump accepted those terms,” O’Malley Dillon said in the statement.

CNN hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the first 2024 presidential debate.
