A huge double standard has been revealed and a new Democrat motto has been exposed as a complete sham. Amid all the tribulations with the Ford and Kavanaugh debate, numerous Democrats unleashed the #BelieveWomen hashtag and motto in defense of Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her over 30 years ago in high school.

People are debating whether or not to believe Ford and her shaky story filled with more holes than a sponge, but the Democrats are demanding that everyone believes her, even though she has no corroborating witnesses or evidence, nor does she have a very good memory of the incident that she claims happened. It doesn’t matter. The Democrats are demanding that everyone believes her. Facts don’t matter when it comes to a Democrat woman being allegedly sexually assaulted.

On the contrary, a woman named Karen Monahan made abuse claims against Democrat Keith Ellison of Minnesota. She claims to have evidence and has been slowly releasing text messages from Ellison to help paint a picture of what she went through. Her claims have more substance to them and were finally broken out into the mainstream when her son posted about it on Facebook. After his post, Monahan herself backed it up and stated everything was true. We reported on this quite a while ago when the story was first breaking (see link).

What we have here is a group of Democrats who want everyone to blindly believe Ford’s accusations against Kavanaugh, even though her own friend and witnesses have denied it happened.

Then we have Monahan who claimed that Keith Ellison abused her, and her story has a bit more to it, but the Democrats are refusing to pay any attention to her story. Since her story goes against one of their own, she’s seemingly being ignored.

So now we have two stories that alleged assault or abuse, but the Democrats only care about the story that goes against the Republican.

That’s what we call a double standard and it’s a shameful practice to ignore Monahan’s story just because she’s going against a Democrat.

Even worse – Monahan’s story was looked into and considered unsubstantiated because she would not show the video that she says exists. This is a video in which Ellison is allegedly dragging her off a bed and telling her to “get the f*ck out of my house.” It’s safe to point out the double standard, but if Monahan really wants this story to go to the next level, then she has to release the video. She has to release the video or people won’t push the issue any further.

Ford, on the other hand, can’t even get her own friend who was there to go along with her story. Kavanaugh faces a one-week FBI investigation which is nothing more than a stall tactic by Democrats.

Back to Monahan’s story – AP reported today:
“ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — An ex-girlfriend’s allegation that Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison once physically abused her could not be substantiated because she refused to provide video she said she had of the incident, an attorney hired to investigate the claims concluded in a draft report obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

The report was compiled by Susan Ellingstad, a lawyer hired by Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party to investigate the allegation against Ellison. The Democratic congressman has denied the allegations.

Karen Monahan alleged in August that Ellison dragged her off a bed by her feet while screaming obscenities at her in 2016. Monahan said she had video footage of the incident and levied the allegation just days ahead of a crowded Democratic primary for Minnesota attorney general that Ellison went on to win.

The state’s Democratic party launched an investigation into the allegation, retaining a local attorney with links to the state party to determine whether the alleged incident took place. Democratic party chairman Ken Martin said last week he expected the investigation to conclude soon.

A draft report obtained by the AP notes Monahan’s shifting rationale for refusing to produce the video footage, including that it was lost, was on a USB drive in storage and that it would be too embarrassing and traumatic to release it.

Ellingstad also wrote in her report that Monahan would not allow her to view the footage privately.

“An allegation standing alone is not necessarily sufficient to conclude that conduct occurred, particularly where the accusing party declines to produce supporting evidence that she herself asserts exists,” Ellingstad wrote. “She has thus repeatedly placed the existence of the video front and center to her allegations, but then has refused to disclose it.

Ellingstad is a partner at the law firm with the state party’s top attorney, Charlie Nauen. Neither Ellingstad nor Monahan immediately responded to requests for comment. The Democratic party did not immediately confirm the report’s authenticity Monday.

The allegation against Ellison has loomed over his bid for attorney general and Democrats nationwide, especially as they push for answers surrounding the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.”

Monahan knows what she has to do. That video must go public. It’s horrific and embarrassing, but she needs to be strong and release the video.

If she wants justice, then it must be done, otherwise, Ellison will go free and get away with his abuse.

Meanwhile, it’s quite terrible how obvious the Democrat double standard is.

How can anyone believe Ford’s shaky story, but they won’t believe Monahan’s story?

If the Democrats put the party and feelings away, then look at the facts, they would see that Monahan has a much more compelling story and a better chance of providing stone cold facts and evidence.

Facts and evidence get the job done.

Facts don’t care about your feelings or your political agenda.
