Democrats have been pushing for mail-in voting because they are saying it’s safest for Americans to vote by mail. President Trump has been calling them out on this scheme because mail-in voting is very different from absentee voting. Proof of identity is the key difference between the two ways of voting, so this is why the president has been pushing back on the proposal by Democrats.

California Governor Gavin Newsom plans to mail every voter a ballot ahead of election day. Still, recent elections in New York, New Jersey, and West Virginia have proven mass mail-in voting schemes lead to fraud.

One key person just spoke out to say that it’s perfectly safe to vote in person. This bursts the bubble of Democrats who wanted mail-in voting.

Townhall is reporting that Dr. Fauci, a member of President Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force, says that voting in person can be done safely:

“I think if carefully done according to the guidelines, there’s a new reason I can see that not being the case. For example, when you look at going to a grocery store now in regions and counties and cities that are doing it correctly, they have x’s every six or more feet, and it says you don’t leave this spot until the person in front of you left their spot, and you can do that. If you go and wear a mask if you observe the physical distancing and don’t have a crowded situation, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to do that,” Fauci said. “There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to vote in person.”

Dr. Fauci’s interview with ABC’s Debra Roberts is below:

If Americans can go to Walmart, Costco, their local Kroger, or any other store, they can get in line to vote.
