Why do Democrats have such a hard time understanding that preventing immigrants from illegally crossing our borders would significantly reduce the number of innocent American citizens being killed or maimed by drunk drivers?

Ann Coulter wrote an article in the Townhall about the drunk driving crisis involving illegal aliens, the majority of whom are Mexican.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a report after report showing that Hispanics are wildly overrepresented in drunk driving accidents.

Last year alone, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported 80,730 illegals for drunk driving, the majority of them Mexicans.

Thanks to its proximity to Mexico, Texas leads the nation in fatal drunk driving accidents, including those involving a blood alcohol content of 0.15 or greater — nearly double the legal limit. In 2014, young Latinos were responsible for about one-third of all DUI accidents in Houston — 535 — though they made up only 8 percent of the population.

The illegal alien drunk driving crisis is not, however, limited to southern states.

In February 2018, Indiana Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson and his Uber driver were killed by an illegal alien who used a fake name and has been deported twice in the past.

The driver was 37-year-old Manuel Orrego-Savala, a citizen of Guatemala. He gave the Indiana State Police the alias Alex Cabrera Gonsales after the crash that killed Jackson and Monroe.

In 2017, Don Rosenberg, the father of Drew Rosenberg, a 25-year-old second-year law student from San Fransico who was killed by a drunk illegal alien driver, spoke with Laura Ingraham about the lack of concern by the previous administration about the illegal alien drunk driving crisis. During his interview, Don Rosenberg told Ingraham that President Trump was the “first and only” major political candidate to reach out to those whose loved ones have been killed by illegal immigrants.

Drew Rosenberg was killed on Nov. 10, 2010, when an illegal immigrant driver traveling the wrong way on a one-way street struck him.

Lifezette– Noting that Trump called him up and asked to meet with him and other grieving families about four weeks after he announced his presidential bid in 2015, Rosenberg said Trump was “genuinely interested” and “cares about what happened to us and stopping it from happening to lots of people.”

“And that was the first — I’ll say first and only [time] that a major political candidate or major political person in office ever not only reached out to us but also reached out to the United States to talk about us,” Rosenberg said. “Everybody else was either mum on the issue or were, you know, praising people that were here illegally and how important they were.”

“I met with [Trump]. He cared,” Rosenberg added.

Conservative author Ann Coulter points out that in addition to the number of American citizens who are killed by illegal aliens, there are also Americans who’ve been permanently maimed in accidents caused by drunk illegal aliens.

The point is, these particular drunk drivers never should have been here in the first place.

Tricia Taylor didn’t die, but the 18-year-old had to have her legs amputated almost to the hip after a drunk driving illegal alien from El Salvador swerved his car onto a sidewalk in Pontiac, Michigan, and rammed her against the wall. It was a miracle that she lived, suffering through multiple surgeries and a lifetime of pain medications. At Jose Carcamo’s sentencing, Taylor said, “What you give him won’t come close to the sentence he gave me for the rest of my life.”

Why does the mainstream media ignore the drunk driving crisis with illegal aliens? What will it take for the media to start telling the truth about the crime committed by people who are sneaking across our borders? Tell us what you think in the comment section below. Is this a legitimate crisis?
