As the establishment Democrats essentially cede control to the far-left socialists engaging in a hostile takeover of the party, it’s no surprise that the increasingly powerful Democratic Socialists of America is using its sway to call for some alarming changes to the United States system of government.
The DSA recently released a laundry list of socialist demands, and Fox News reported on some of its most outrageous points:
According to a source familiar with the DSA’s planning, the organization plans to roll out an update next week to its long-term vision for a U.S. policy platform. The update includes eliminating the U.S. Senate and replacing the president and the Supreme Court with an executive branch and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.
Additionally, the updated platform would include amnesty for all immigrants and defunding the Department of War.
Later in the same article:
In addition to radically altering the country’s three-branch form of government, the DSA’s existing platform also advocates establishing a 32-hour work week “with no reduction in pay or benefits,” the passage of Medicare for All, canceling all student loan debt, the elimination of cash bail and universal rent control.
News of the emerging platform has already sparked some social media discussion:
The @DemSocialists policy platform is literally designed to make America weaker.
1) De-militarization
2) Increase financial commitments to unsustainable levels https://t.co/bpwVgqEth5

The DSA (Destroying Society Altogether) wants to eliminate the President, eliminate the Senate, and eliminate the United States altogether.
They want to do more to destroy America than Al Qaeda did.

The Washington Examiner added these details:
The Democratic Socialists of America platform calls for ambitious reforms, including the adoption of a new constitution and allowing noncitizens to vote, according to its program for 2025 and 2026.
Socialists have been on the rise after candidates such as Melat Kiros and Darializa Avila Chevalier beat longtime Democratic incumbents and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani defeated the Democratic establishment in last year’s mayoral race.
The DSA has backed anti-establishment views and candidates, claiming that neither political party represents “working people.”
Here’s some additional insight from one of the movement’s leaders:
