On Sunday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth channeled his inner Maverick and took a ride into the danger zone…

Hegseth paid a visit to the Navy’s elite TOPGUN program in Nevada, where he actually rode along on a F-18 Super Hornet demonstration flight with instructor Lt. Cmdr. Dillon ‘Bodacious’ Hamrick.

The Department of War just shared the cockpit footage from that flight, and it is absolutely awesome to watch.
