Obama Attorney General Eric Holder – “You want to rumble, let’s rumble. You want to have a knife fight, we’re gonna do it.”
While attending a campaign event for a Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate, Obama’s former AG Eric Holder referenced violent rhetoric threatening the Republican Party. The over-the-top comment came during a speech supporting Supreme Court candidate Rebecca Dallet who is notoriously anti-gun. Holder also, spoke about his fight against redistricting that he says favors Republicans:
Journal Sentinel reports:
Holder heads the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which is spending $140,000 on digital ads backing Dallet. He said his group will be monitoring the race over the next two weeks and said it was a “distinct possibility” that it would be spending more in support of Dallet.
During Holder’s speech, he told Democrats to be focused but then went off the rails with this comment:
“We have to be ready to, you know, not do anything inappropriate, not do anything improper, certainly not do anything unlawful,” he said. “But to the extent that they want to have a fight, let’s do it. You want to rumble, let’s rumble. You want to have a knife fight, we’re gonna do it.”
Hummm…where have we heard this before?
This must be from Obama’s bag of Alinsky tricks:
“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said in Philadelphia last night. “Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.” – Barack Obama, 2008 Campaign stop in Philadelphia
Alinsky would be proud:
Rule #13 from Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals:
Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
CALLING OUR PRESIDENT “ORANGE MAN” – OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON HOLDER’S ATTACKS ON REPUBLICANS AND PRESIDENT TRUMP:
Former Attorney General Eric Holder says he is glad to be unshackled from his old job because employment with the National Democratic Redistricting Committee lets him lash out at Republicans like “orange man” President Trump.
Politico recently went on the road with the NDRC’s chairman in Virginia for get-out-the-vote efforts on behalf of Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, the Democratic nominee for Virginia governor.
An interview at Rising Mount Zion Baptist Church in Richmond covered everything from NDRC’s efforts to raise over $30 million for gubernatorial races to Mr. Trump’s alleged role in empowering “neo-Nazis and white nationalists.”
“I probably would not have [attacked Republicans like] that while I was attorney general,” he continued. “I didn’t have an orange man who I was serving under, but, I mean, I would not have said that about a former president, for instance, while I was attorney general. But now, I’m just a citizen and I’ve got the full range of my voice back.”
The former attorney general also told Rising Mount Zion congregants that Mr. Northam’s battle with Republican Ed Gillespie was important because “debts have to be repaid.”
