According to ESPN, the NFL will reportedly play what is known as the ‘Black national anthem’ before every Week 1 NFL game in the 2020 season. The song is called, “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing.” sounds nice, but we already have a national anthem.

The song will be played before “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

They are also proposing listing the names of black victims on uniforms, according to ESPN.

Last year, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell caved to the voices in the league who promoted kneeling during the national anthem. The NFL began a diversity program and funded it with millions, but that wasn’t enough. In June, the league revealed plans to increase its social justice footprint by pledging to donate $250 million over a 10-year period.

Goodell is now groveling to the faction of players who want more and more. He recently released a video apologizing for not supporting the Black Lives Matter movement:

“We, at the National Football League, believe Black Lives Matter. I personally protest with you and want to be part of the much-needed change in this country.”

“Without black players, there would be no National Football League and the protests around the country are emblematic of the centuries of silence, inequality, and oppression of black players, coaches, fans, and staff. We are listening, I am listening, and I will be reaching out to players who have raised their voices and others on how we can improve and go forward for a better and more united NFL family.”

We should not have two anthems. There are not two Americas so there should never be another anthem.
