This morning, on Face The Nation, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy set the leftist host, Margaret Brennan, straight on the Democrat Party impeachment scam.
In an attempt to fool her viewers into believing that House Democrats conducting a transparent process, instead of super-secret impeachment hearings from a bunker on Capitol Hill, Brennan told Rep. McCarthy that the attorney for the whistleblower claims that his client has not met with Adam Schiff.
Last month, after it was discovered that Schiff knew about the whistleblower complaint even before it was filed. The far-left Washington Post committed a random act of journalism when they gave House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) “Four Pinocchios” over his false claim that he never met with the whistleblower involved in the July 25 Trump-Zelensky phone call.
Brennan explained that she talked to Mark Zaid, the whistleblower’s attorney, just last night. “He told me that an offer has been made, and this is new, to Republicans to answer questions directly put to the whistleblower by Republicans not going through the Democratic-controlled committee, but to answer them in writing under oath, under penalty of perjury. What is your response to that offer?” she asked.
McCarthy shot back, “First of all, we were talking about the removal of the president of the United States.” He continued, “Just as the speaker of the House said in March, it has to be so compelling…Brennan interrupted, trying to plead her case for the Democrats, “But…” McCarthy continued, “…so overwhelming and bipartisan. I think if the whistleblower should come forward in an open hearing and also bring the six people that he talks about inside his complaint that he said talked about other issues as well.”
Brennan asked if he would agree to the whistleblower lawyer’s terms? McCarthy reminded her that they already have the transcript of the call, so the whistleblower’s testimony would be a waste of time.
Brennan asked if McCarthy was turning down the lawyer’s offer, asking if his offer was not sufficient?
McCarthy replied, “No. As an American and that everybody should know and have accountability, you’re talking about the removal of the presidency. We watched Adam Schiff lie to the American public that he did not know who the whistleblower was
Brennan, again, tried to plead the case for the whistleblower’s lawyer. An exasperated McCarthy replied, “No, let me be very clear Margaret. What I’m open to, when you’re talking about the removal of the president of the United States, undoing democracy, undoing what the American public had voted for, I think that individual should come before the committee. He could come down to the basement. But he needs to answer the questions. We need an openness that people understand this. Remember what you’re asking. You’re going to change the course, the very fabric of democracy today, based upon someone wrote a written question of somebody that wasn’t even on the phone call, that had hearsay? Even though we all know what the transcripts said?”
Brennan completely disregarded McCarthy’s response and flippantly replied, “Well Mike Pence would become president.”
McCarthy appeared to be agitated with the Face the Nation host, asking, “Are we really this far that we…” Brennan interrupted, as she tried to explain that impeaching the President of the United States, who 63 million Americans voted for was no big deal, and that it wouldn’t actually undo the election results.
McCarthy appeared to be stunned, “Margaret, you…Margaret…” Brennan shrugged and responded, ” Mike Pence would become president,” implying that Democrats impeaching the President of the United States simply because they don’t like him is no big deal.
A visibly frustrated McCarthy shot back, “Margaret you’re…Margaret you…Margaret you’re really saying today on national television, that somebody who was not on a phone call that you had the transcripts of the phone call, ‘no big deal’ just remove the President of the United States over a phone call?
Is the mainstream media seriously trying to convince America that removing President Trump from office would NOT be undoing the will of the people because VP Pence would then become president?

McCarthy brilliantly wrapped up the interview by saying, “I think democracy is too precious to think that somebody who’s not on a phone call, that cannot stand before the American public, and answer the questions, that somehow we would change the course of that? And we’re one year away from today. What are they so afraid of? What do they have to hide? Why wouldn’t they release one item? If you were a jury member, you have to look at all the information. You don’t just get the prosecutor to give you one line from an opening statement. You get cross-examinations, you get a due process. None of that is happening here today. We have never gone down this in America and we should stand up and not allow this ever to happen.”
Republicans are finally sticking together and defending Trump against the never-ending false claims against President Trump. Will the bogus impeachment trials against our president accomplish something that is rarely seen in Washington—a unified front by Republican lawmakers?
