This is an unexpected twist in the tragic story of a 7-year old girl who died while in the custody of the border patrol.

The father of the little girl just came forward to set the record straight after much speculation from the left on whether the border patrol did enough to help the little girl before she died. The activists and politicians played judge and jury again in their effort to make the border patrol look bad:

Nancy Pelosi weighed in with a veiled swipe at the border patrol:

The truth has come out a little bit at a time but now the father of the little girl says the border patrol did everything they could to save his daughter.

Jake Tapper tweeted out a series of tweets to give us the truth…Can you believe it?

Guatemalan Consul Tekandi Paniagua tells CNN’s he met extensively with the father of 7-year-old Jakelin Caal Maquin Friday night in El Paso.

Paniagua says the father of Jakelin has “no complaints about how Border Patrol agents treated him and his daughter.”

The consul says the father told him that agents did everything they possibly could to help the girl on the bus.

The father, per the consul, confirmed the DHS timeline that Jakelin did not show any signs of distress until about 5 am when they were placed on the bus to ride from the border checkpoint to the border patrol station 95 miles away.

It’s a shocker that Jake Tapper revealed this to us.

More information is coming that:

– Father of the 7-year-old migrant who died signed a form saying his daughter was not ill during initial screening –

DHS says the family was offered food and water before being transported to nearest Border Patrol station

This is such a tragedy that was politicized to make the border patrol look bad. The truth is that no matter what side of the aisle you’re on, discouraging anyone from making the trek to our border needs to happen. How about that wall?

While politicians like Nancy Pelosi lecture the border patrol, they never knew that facts. She now looks like a fool. Tragic

And then there’s this:

Finally! Evidence of not one, but up to 18 deaths of migrants in US custody, seven due to subpar care. Oh, wait. It was from the Obama admin from 2012-2015. Nevermind.
