Try as the Biden Administration might, they cannot keep protecting Hunter Biden from himself.

They also can’t keep protecting Joe Biden from his son’s bad decision making.

Special Counsel David Weiss and his team have made a new revelation about the case against Joe Biden’s son.

Prosecutors have been sitting on evidence that cocaine residue was found on the Colt Cobra revolver that Hunter Biden allegedly illegally bought for $900 in cash.

This comes as Hunter is attempting to have three felony gun charges against him dropped.

With the three charges, he could spend up to 25 years in prison.

Daily Mail has the story:

The Colt Cobra revolver gun Hunter Biden allegedly bought illegally for $900 in cash while addicted to drugs has been pictured for the first time in a scathing court filing from prosecutors.

Chemists also found cocaine on the brown leather pouch where the president’s son stored his gun, Special Counsel David Weiss’s office claimed in the damning document.

Federal prosecutors made the new revelations as Weiss hit back at the president’s son trying to have three felony gun charges carrying up to 25 years in prison dropped.

Hunter, 52, claims the Department of Justice only indicted him after caving to Republican pressure and is demanding the charges are dropped.

The top prosecutor slammed the ‘conspiracy theory’ as a ‘fiction designed for a Hollywood script.’

‘Stripped of its bluster, the defendant’s theory of vindictiveness is simply not credible,’ prosecutors wrote.

‘Left with the inconvenient truth of trying to explain how this could happen during the Biden Administration, the defendant suggests that evil motives are lurking deep within the Department of Justice.

Our friends at the New York Post have the latest:

In the special counsel’s filing, the court was informed that “an FBI chemist subsequently analyzed the residue and determined that it was cocaine. To be clear, investigators literally found drugs on the pouch where the defendant had kept his gun.”

Hunter bought and possessed the Colt Cobra 38SPL revolver for 11 days between Oct. 12 and Oct. 23, 2018.

That possession ended when his sister-in-law Hallie Biden tossed the firearm into a dumpster in Wilmington, Delaware.

Hallie, the widow of Hunter’s deceased brother, had begun a sexual relationship with him and she apparently became concerned about what he might do with the gun.

According to Hunter’s own memoir, that would make the window of sobriety a mere blink in time for a defense.

The defense will likely challenge the admissibility of police testing due to the gun being tossed into the dumpster.
