Meghan McCain got into a heated debate about socialism on “The View” Tuesday.

WFB – Whoopi Goldberg opened the discussion by discussing New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D.) and wondering “if anybody’s discussed the difference between socialism and democratic– I don’t know.”

“Isn’t it more like– Isn’t democratic socialism very close to liberalism?” Behar asked. “I mean think about it for a second. Medicare, Social Security, garbage collection, the post office, the libraries, the fire department. That’s all democratic socialism.”

Co-host Sonny Hostin appeared to be fully in favor of Ocasio-Cortez’s Socialist platform and even went on to passionately defend it when Megan McCain lit into the pack of dingbats, reminding them of the famous Margaret Thatcher quote about “running out of other people’s money”. Megan McCain used the US Post office and the VA as examples of how the government should not be in the business of running businesses. The View liberals, however, continued to argue their points about how socialism could be good for America.

Megan McCain blasted her co-hosts: “Every democratic socialist who is going on TV saying that it’s good needs to start paying 90 percent in taxes. On your tax form, I think you should start paying the amount of taxes that every socialist in this country thinks you need to, because if you think the government’s so good at spending money, look at the VA.”

After her stunning primary win in a very liberal Bronx district, the liberal “The View” hags interviewed Socialist-Democrat candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. When asked how she defeated the 10-term Democrat Congressman, Joe Crowley, Ocasio-Cortez explained her strategy, “I’m gonna work as hard as I can and just leave it up to…[pause] the universe.” This is the place where most Republicans would say they were leaving it up to God. Notice, how the 28-year-old Socialist conveniently appears to have replaced the word “God” with “universe”.

Watch as the community organizer turned Socialist candidate for US Congress, explains to “The View” hosts about how she had no plan for winning the election against 10-term Congressional incumbent Joe Crowley, who has held the seat in the district she won for over 20 years, and about her presidential ambitions.

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t exactly honest about growing up the in the district she called home…

What is it with these privileged Socialist-Democrats like Senator Bernie (3 homes in Vermont) Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the self-described Socialist-Democrat candidate for US Congress? Why are they so anxious to cry about the injustices of the poor, while living very comfortable lives, thanks to the benefits of capitalism? While Ocasio-Cortez’s biography tells the story of a poor little girl who grew up in the Bronx and drove 40 minutes from her home to attend better schools, her actual upbringing was much different.  Alexandria actually grew up in an upscale neighborhood, in a home that recently sold for a cool $355,000.
