Today, on what would have been Charlie Kirk’s 32nd birthday, President Trump presented him posthumously with a very special Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The ceremony was lovely and bittersweet.

Charlie Kirk's Presidential Medal of Freedom was given to his wife, Erika.

And, it looks like President Trump added a very thoughtful, powerful, and symbolic personal touch to the medal itself.

For the first time ever, a Christian cross was engraved onto a Presidential Medal of Freedom to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk.

This is how Charlie Kirk wanted to be remembered -- as a man of faith whose life was spent in service of God and his nation.

During Erika's acceptance speech, she said her husband would often say "without God, freedom becomes chaos," noting he believed that liberty could only survive when anchored in truth.

Prior to his assassination, Kirk said that when he died, he wanted to be remembered for courage for his faith.

Amazing.
