The incident below is another fail on the part of NYC Mayor de Blasio who wants a hands-off approach to policing. This approach is getting officers hurt because they cannot show force. The trend of ignoring law enforcement and even fighting with them is a dangerous way to enforce the law.
Recent incidences of New Yorkers throwing water on police officers goes hand in hand with the attitude of disrespect.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DON’T TEACH KIDS TO RESPECT LAW ENFORCEMENT:
A huge fight started in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan after a teen made the false claim he was “clipped” by an NYC taxi.
As it turns out, video of the teen showed he ran into the cab instead of the cab driver hitting the teen.
The cab driver was terrified when the teens jumped on his car hood and started angrily attacking. They tried to get into his cab as they jumped on top of it.
Police officers on the scene were ignored and disrespected by the group of teens. The teens began to attack officers who suffered injuries due to the melee.
PIX11 reports that four teens were arrested at the scene after fighting with police.
The injured teen was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries
