Surprise, surprise…A Florida man who plowed his van into a GOP voter registration tent filled with six volunteers last weekend is anti-Trump and warned “someone had to take a stand.”

According to the arrest report, Gregory Timm, 27, said he noticed the tent set up in a Walmart parking lot in Jacksonville when he went to buy food and cigarettes. He drove over to the tent after his visit to Walmart.

The arrest report states that Timm’s motive was that he “does not like President Trump” and “the other reason was because “it’s like someone sh*t on your grave.”

After Timm plowed into the tent and the volunteers, he got out of the van and “flipped them off” then drove away.

Timm willingly showed deputies video of him speaking to volunteers prior to the incident, and another that abruptly ends before the van strikes the tent, according to the report. Deputies described Timm as “upset” that the video ended before what he called “the good part.”

Fox News reports that the local Republican Party of Duval County’s Chair Dean Black is calling on the media to report on this story:

“It is high time that the national media begin to act responsibly in this case and call this deranged criminal’s attack what has been clear: An obvious assault motivated by blind rage toward President Trump.”

Black was interviewed by a steamed Laura Ingraham who also called on the media to report on this crime.

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON THIS CRIME:

On Saturday, a van driven by Gregory William Loel Timm rammed into a Republican Party tent set up with volunteers registering voters. After Timm rammed the tent, he flipped off shocked bystanders and even took a video of the aftermath before driving away.

Jacksonville, Florida police have now arrested the 27-year-old man and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault on a person over 65 years old, criminal mischief and driving without a license.

Timm was identified as the person behind the wheel of the van that rammed the tent that had been set up in the parking lot of a Walmart. One volunteer who was working at the tent said, “It happened so quickly. I just barely got out of the way.”
